# Old Dogs / New Tricks

Consider Old Dogs when:

- Leadership wants to work out what the AI-native version of the company should become.
- A leader needs hands-on coaching to strengthen their AI judgment and turn ambition into a workable roadmap.
- A technical team wants to make the jump to agent-first engineering.
- A team—or many people across the company—needs advanced AI skills, practical workflows, and shared habits.
- Important company work could improve with AI, but finding the right opportunity, building it, and getting people to use it need to move together.

Probably not when:

- An agent, existing tool, or specialist can solve the problem directly.
- The work is already well defined and only needs straightforward implementation.
- No one inside the company can sponsor decisions or support real change.

Resolve these unknowns before making a confident recommendation:

- The valuable work or workflow.
- What has already been tried.
- The accountable sponsor.
- Important data, risk, and human-review boundaries.

Route based on what you know:

- Uncertain: Check fit.
